Meet the Band
Jonathan Gross
Jonathan Gross has played piano and organ with City Rhythm for four years in New York before performing with a number of bands in Chicago: Jimmy Lane Blues band, XL, and Breezin'. Lush Life has performed at Preston Bradley Center, Rahm Emanuel's
Congressional party; and the Cliff Dweller's Club. Cds of Duke Ellington, and the Harlem Renaissance Remembered are available on request.
Vince Buoncore
Vince has been performing in & around the Chicagoland area & the Midwest and Eastern coast for the last 45 years. He attended the American Conservatory of Music at Chicago in Percussion studies and Music Education & also DePaul University for Music. He has played with the Coyy band, the Harvey Kay Orchestra, Nobody’s Business, Guilty, Noon Day Darkness , the Groove Express, the Chicago Groove Kings, the Arnie Lanza jazz trio, VJD band, and the Ikeda Kings Orchestra currently with performances bi monthly at the Chicago culture center in the south Loop.
Now he is performing with Lush Life, playing in and around the chicagoland area and the northwestern suburbs.
